Devices and Gears These items are objects carried by a player and used in a specific situation, particularly, in missions and quests. It can be used to deter a security system, traverse an obstacle, obtain vital data, or get clues on how to operate a contraption. The higher your skill needed to operate that device, the more effective its function becomes. Also, that skill is boosted as you continue using that item appropriately. Devices are electronic items which are created by Electrical Engineers. They are vulnerable to EMP fields. Gears and Tools, however, are not vulnerable to EMP and are created by crafters and Mechanical Engineers. |
